We have a church affiliated drama group, known as ‘The Players’.
The group have been putting on public performances way back before our current church building was even conceived. The building in which we now worship was built in 1934 and The Players transferred here from their previous church premises (The Congregational church) on Erdington High street. The Players have a long history of quality productions both within our community and to audience members who regularly attend from further afield.
The most recent play was Ken Ludwig’s .. “The Game’s Afoot” also known as “Holmes for the Holiday” – a comedy murder mystery. The set challenged the set construction crew as it required a revolving secret wall as part of the set!
